3K Membership Mod Not Working Properly

Why in the hell would you install fake profiles to your site to try and fool people into thinking you have three thousand members?  Besides, this can get you into legal trouble as some sties have been sued over fake profiles.

I think the community should petition Boonex to remove the fake profile module from the market; it is a module designed to be deceptive and as such should not be in the  Market.

Here is the solution, if you backed up the database before installing this module, then restore from backup.  Otherwise, start removing the fake profiles manually, you can use a database tool such as phpMyAdmin, dbNinja, or whatever is your favourite.

You can also go into your admin, go to members, sort by latest members, choose select all at the bottom, click delete; repeat until all the fake profiles are removed.

Somehow I get the feeling the OP did not like my suggestion on fixing the problem.

hahaha..when it didn't work for you it should be banned. Good logic. You should ask for refund from the maker instead of asking for it to be banned.

No, I did not install the module, someone else installed it and noticed a problem with the fake members' photos.  When I said they should removed the fake profiles they ended up deleting their original post in the thread.

I am asking for it to be removed from the Market because it is a deceptive module; fake profiles, and such fake profiles have been targeted in lawsuits.  Of course the developer would be free to sell the module outside of the Market.  Just like Apple controls what is sold in its shop, so can Boonex.  The fake profile module reflects badly on Boonex due to the nature of the module and the fact that it is sold in the Boonex Market.
