2MB Music Upload Restriction

I also have the same problem as most I heard. On my C-Panel the .htaccess file or php.ini file does not show up anywhere in my root directory. I modified the .htaccess file from my computer and uploaded it to my root directory and it still acts like it's hiden. That also made no changes when I went back to my website to upload music, still got the 2MB limit warning. Does anyone have a copy of a php.ini file I could copy and paste with a higher limit? and I'll just make a new php.ini file in c-panel. or if anyone have any clear step by step directions. Also why was the limits set so low in the dolphin software? maybe this could be a project for someone that would solve most peoples problem with the upload and setup of Dolphin on a web server. Just a thought but other wise I am getting most of the rest worked out . Thank Leroy

This is not a dolphin issue, this is a server issue as the php.ini file is located in your servers root.  You need a VPS or Dedicated in order to obtain root access and make the changes your requesting.  Now, you may be able to override in your Dolphin .htacess file, if not then you need to contact the hosting company and have them make the adjustment if they will.

Again, this is why VPS & Dedicated servers are so much nicer to have if you can afford them than the shared servers.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
