2 columns in profile page are not showing correctly

Hello guys,

Im having an issue with the profile page and a couple of others.

I see that some pages show 2 columns perfectly fine but when i place two columns on the profile page it shows as one. It seems to me that its attached to the breadcrumb like this:

Home>profile> then the profile photo box. So the the box and all the other boxs are seen as one column in the middle of the page looking like its attached to the breadcrumb.

When i take the second column off, it shows correctly under the breadcrumb and looks ok. Problem is that i want the 2 columns to be side by side. I have an understanding of CSS and aligning and positioning techniques. Thats why it is baffling me.

Im thinking that it should be under the breadcrumb so that it can show the 2 columns correctly. How do i do this?

I really need help with this. Its the only thing really stopping me from advertising it for users.

Are you creating the two columns in the page blocks or manually? I've had no problems with going into Admin>Builders>Page builder. Just select the page you want to edit (Profiles have several pages listed, if you want them to uniformly have the same settings, make sure you add the 2 columns to all of them) and click the add column button. Then populate the columns with the page blocks that you want in each.
