2 Blocks side by side in one column

Hello guys, does any one know if it is possible to display 2 blocks side by side in one column i have found a thread on how to do this with html code, but this is not what i need. 

The reason being is i have reworked the couples profile and want the profile fields displayed side by side with the description below them both as one.

Any Ideas?

It's not possible with a vanilla site, and I don't know if anyone would be willing to rework the page system to implement it.

Thanks for your reply, Shame their is no mods or way of doing this, I would make much better space on the page.

I know this has no reviews, but there is a product that may help. I looked at it once and am still thinking about it.

I think it allows a single html block to be split into 3. Infact, i did see a version somewhere that allowed a block to be split into 10. It may be worth having a look, maybe there is aphp version I am thinking of?

From what i can see that mod is just used for HTML. There is a thread on how you can do this for free and it is really simple

I have changed my sign up blocks to person 1 and person 2, as my site is couple orientated. Everything is working perfectly as i want except the profile layout

I would like both blocks 1 and 2 to be displayed next to each other with the description below

Thought about having somthing made in flash? I should imagine it would be possible. Or, if you could get the flash to retrieve the information you want for each seperate side of the block, you could just drop it into a a html block.

I do not yet know how to lookup the database from flash, it is somthing I am working on, otherwise I would have had a go for you.

Thanks for the imput i will see if this is possible and if anyone can do it, iv searched and searched but no one seems to want the same thing
