"Save" button non-responsive on Edit Profile page.

The "save" button becomes non-responsive when I add content to the custom text area blocks that i've added to the edit profile page. Any Radio buttons, pop-down select menus, and multi-select check boxes are fine, and the "save" button works and successfully ads content to the database. However, as soon as I add anything to any of my custom text areas (including the "Desription" text area) the "save" button goes dead. Nothing happens when it is clicked.

This bug does not seem affect all profiles, only a few.

If your editing profile page and the submit button doesn't do anything then it is likely a "possible attack" error.  Did you add in the changesets that deal with the PA issues?

Also make sure you do not have special characters in the Description field or the input area (special characters are these !@#$%^&&()  etc.

To add to Mauricecano's post (haha had to do it), also make sure that you do not hit the spacebar too many times consecutively either. There is a such thing called a "white space" possible attack too.

Nothing to see here

Your right, I did notice if I put a space after a list item would cause a problem with dolphin

Thanks to everyone for helping. mauricecano... question, what are the "Changesets" that you are referring too? Are these settings in the admin panel? or were these the updated files that were available for download? I tried them on the Beta 8 but they seemed to cause more harm than good. perhaps I will try these with RC? (currently using RC)

Zarcon put the possible attack fix changesets in one place on a blog post here: http://www.boonex.com/unity/blog/entry/Possible_Attack_Fix_All_In_One_Download

I ran into this a few times and realized that if I scrolled up there were errors (red exclamation marks) in some of the required fields.

Be sure you are filling out everything that is required and that it fits the fields requirements.

Here is a previous post on how to add the popup for errors on the profile edit form.  Boonex doesn't think that notifying someone of an error is important and that placing an exclamation mark on a field you have to scroll to even find, if noticed at all, is best.

Do you have any TinyMCE (HtmlTextArea) fields?  This sounds similar to the problems I had as a result of unicode not being compiled in my version of php: http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/#topic/Serious-problem-with-TinyMCE-on-join-form.htm
