"Poison Keywords"

I have come across something about keywords and some that are marked as "poison;" is this relevant today?

"The web page contains poison keywords."

I think he means key words and phrases that make a site look and smell fishy to the search engines thus resulting in a lower ranking.

Nope. Never paid much attention to it. Based on what i have read, there is a difference of opinion if it's a myth or not.

Ohhhh, that term is also used to describe the words that will cause Google to display "public service announcements" or stop displaying ads completely...
