"Error producing security image" error

Hi Friends,

I bought a dedicated server with cPanel and installed d7rc3 and everything went fine but now the captcha on the JOIN page is not working. It keeps showing this error - ""Error producing security image"

GD library and ImageMagick are installed with correct paths.

/tmp has 777 permissions and /simg has 755 permissions

I tried deleting the /simg/.htaccess file as one of the solutions mentioned on google but did not worked.

There are no errors in apache logs

There's another solution mentioned in google i.e. to go to admin panel -> advanced settings and selecting the option named " Use GD library for image processing". But I do not see any such option in D7RC3 admin panel.

Can someone help me please?

In the Admin Panel, it is located in Settings>Advanced Settings> Variables. Try unchecking it to see if it will work then.

Noticed the selection, it was already selected. So, I tried deselecting it and it worked .. :)
