Browser crashes on non-webcam users

whenever a user who does not have a webcam attempts to select 'Record' either in Video download window or in the Comment window, the browser crashes instead of giving him/her a warning like 'sorry you do not have a webcam' or something.

Also, embeding videos takes almost 1 min after entering the URL link and 'Continue' is pressed, to see the embedded video appear. By then, users will leave thinking its not working (0which I did until I found out the issue).

should these two be reported as a bug?...not sure.

I guess no one has this problem or has not tested it if it works. Anyone?

well in my case, when flash is selected and uploading a video. If something interrupts the process... the browser will freeze.
