All profiles were transferred (0 items)

ya, its me again with migration issue. After re-installing a clean D7 for the forth time to see if my previous failed attempts on photo migration will succeed this time, now I am stuck migrating the profiles :( I never had problem on previous installs on profiles, but couldn't find out where else to check for this new issue. File permissions? .htaccess? I can upload videos and play them and also cron job is sending emails fine. I double checked the path for D6 is entered correctly in the migration module setting. Once it says 'in process', within 2 or 3 mins shows "All profiles were transferred (0 items)" when i refresh the page. I even have the last D7 db that I had migrated the profiles from D6, but not sure if I can transfer them from that db. Almost giving up on D7 and go back to 6.1.4. Any thoughts from anyone? help???? i'm almost getting bald pulling my hair on D7 :)

Thanks to 'Fagum' (Kristian) who suggested to change the D6 database username/password be the same as D7's. The only problem I have now is the same as my original issue, i.e. migrated photos have everything except the photos themselves (3 reinstallations & the same result). now I'm mad and tired!
