I think what interex is trying to tell you is, you seemed to have botched the install process, and of course the LAST thing you want to do when you modifiy a script or dealing with a script this complex is to start deleting folders and expecting things to work again.

Not sure what your experiance with PHP and so forth is, but even thou most of the mods are stated to be "easy to follow" this statement implies that you understand somewhat of what is between the < ? php see more symbols.

With as little information that you posted, I would prob. suggest a reinstall and pay extensive detail to everything as you go along, and always back up, back up, back up.
