Ok sammie... I guess you have never worked with servers before or know nothing about how IP addresses work. You can ping a domain name and get the IP address. Giving out an IP is not a security nor privacy issue. Also, who cares if someone gets your cpanel user name? That is the easiest thing to steal anyway. Long as you have a strong password you do not have to worry. You are telling the company to go in private to discuss this when one of their un-educated customers is the one that drug it out see more into puplic in the first place.

In my view the company was only trying to protect itself from being slammed with something they had nothing to do with.
