The problem with tracking an application status based on open tickets is that the tickets rarely convey an idea of how much work is involved in each. I've had situations with 20 bugs on my checklist before release date, and since they were each small issues, it wasn't a big deal at all. On the other hand, some tickets can stay open for weeks because of the amount of dependent work included...

Of course it's nice at this point if Boonex staff can close tickets within a few days of completion, because see more everyone is looking for progress towards a final release.
