I will try to help you. I will explain the process of setting up CCBill on both CCBill and Dolphin ends.
1) Access your CCBill account. You need to create a form (or a few of them) and payment options for your memberships. The default Dolphin configuration doesn't allow you to use CCBill for recurring billing, so don't create options involving it.
2) If you're going to use your CCBill account for more than one site, you'll need to create subaccounts. Your default subaccount is named see more "0000", the consecutive will be named by increasing the default by one: "0001", "0002" and so on.
a) To create a subaccount, navigate to "Tools -> Account Maintenance -> Account Setup" and enter a subaccount number or leave it intact. Click "Next".
The following page is rather self-explanatory, but you will have to specify the following URLs:
Fill in the other fields referring to the explanations under them.
Click "Next".
b) The next screen should normally be left blank. Anyways here are the values which must be set on this screen:
* User Managemenet - None
* Collect Username / Password - Do not collect Username and Password
* Username Type - User Defined
Click "Next"
c) The next screen can be skipped because you don't want CCBill to handle installation of their system because Dolphin already has the appropriate module for that. Click "Next".
d) Select "Single Billing Type". As I have said, the default Dolphin CCBill module doesn't allow to use recurring billing.
e) Set your price and the membership period. Click "Next".
f) This screen allows you to set up other pricing options in case you are going to offer more than one pricing options for the same membership. But keep in mind that the default CCBill module allows to use only one form and only one payment option. Make your changes and click "Next".
g) Choose your preferred form layout and click "Next".
Select the color theme of your form and click "Next".
You can select any index page on the next screen because you won't need it anyways.
Click "Finish" (don't click "Download" because you won't use the index page).
3) This new screen allows you to make additional settings and change the ones you already made. What's important to do here is clicking the "Advanced" link to enter the "Approval Post" and "Denial Post" URLs. They should be as follows:
* Approval Post URL - http://yoursite.com/checkout/ccbill.php
* Denial Post URL - http://yoursite.com/checkout/ccbill.php
4) Click "Form Admin". If you're going to receive payments by credit cards, click the form name ending with "cc", for check payment option click the one ending with "ck". Remember the form name.
5) Click "Generate HTML". Select only one subscription type for your form. Click "Submit". Choose the default language and click "Submit". Choose the default currency and click "Submit". The next screen will show you some variables which you will have to enter in your Dolphin Admin.
These variables are:
* clientAccnum - corresponds to "Account number"
* clientSubacc - corresponds to "Subaccount number"
* formName - corresponds to "Form name"
* allowedTypes - corresponds to "Allowed types"
* subscriptionTypeId - corresponds to "Subscription type id"
Remember these variables and their values.
6) Access Dolphin Admin and navigate to "Settings -> Payment Settings -> CCBill". Input the values you have learned in the previous step.
7) You can now test your transaction:
a) Log into your CCBill account
b) Navigate to Tools -> Account Maintenance -> Transaction Test Settings -> choose your subaccount from the drop-down menu on the upper-left
c) Click "Create New User" -> Enter the email of your test user -> Enter the IP address range (the Low and High IP Addresses). For example 213.162.98.0 (for Low) and 213.162.98.255 (for High). The server from which you will be accessing your site in test mode must belong to this IP range -> Update
d) Now you will be able to test your transactions with the email you provided in the previous step and the following credit card numbers:
Visa - 4444444444446666
MasterCard - 5555555555557777
The other info on the checkout page may be fictitious.
