where did you get the idea that boonex was going to take a commission. now that it has been laid out for you what some have to say about becoming a contributor, let me say what i think it means to me.

as mentioned, you are willing to show a committment to something you believe in, by your contribution of $20.00 per month or $100.00 per year, you get a whole lot more in return. what do you get you say. well lets start with ad-free licenses. lets count them
Dolphin - $39.00
Orca - $39.00
Ray see more - $39.00
Ray Widget Pack x 10 widgets - $390.00

OH MY $497.00 worth of ad-free licenses, and you are complaining about $20.00?

A year or 12 stars costs $100.00, we are talking about $8.33 per month, on a monthly basis, boonex is giving back to you $41.42, so mathematically speaking, boonex is paying you $33.09 per month to use their script. pay for your contributor status or hit the bricks. its simple. you can always go over to expertzzz.com and sell your wares, and hope you enjoy yourself over there.

in one month if your wares are worth your complaint, you could sell say 10 a day @ $5.00 each, $50.00 per day times 30 days in the month $1500.00 per month on one site alone. now couple that with selling on expertzzz, and there are a few other sites, and you could stand the possibility of making $4000.00 to $5000.00 per month, for your meager investment of as you state $20.00 per month.

well do the math, its not rocket science.

Hey Dog,

For 1 star $20 per month?

Do you really get all these as you mention:
Dolphin - $39.00
Orca - $39.00
Ray - $39.00
Ray Widget Pack x 10 widgets - $390.00

OH MY $497.00 worth of ad-free licenses, and you are complaining about $20.00?

All of the 10+ ray widgets are also included for that $20 per month contribution?

Or $100 per year? I must have missed mention of this yearly thing too.

Unless they updated the contributor page recently, which could have happened I don't see more check it very often. But anyway I find the wording a little on the confusing side and not completely clear. There was mention about 2 stars gets you 3 licenses or something. What I took that meaning was 2 stars $40 3 licenses, such as 1 dolphin, 1 orca and 1 ray widget or some combination.

The other thing that wasn't clear...is there some kind of universal license. I was assuming if I spent $20 I get 1 license, but how do they know which I want to use it for or if I decide I want 1 orca, but later decide, I don't want to use orca, I'd rather use the license for 1 ray widget or something.

Again this was assuming that 1 star was acutally just 1 license. The way I took it was a second star would just get me an additional license or 2 for ray or orca. And if I wanted all of them what is there 10 widgets or so, then I took it as 10x$20.

This is partly why I never became a contributor, it was too confusing and I wasn't going to pay $20 per month just for 1 license alone. But if it included all licenses for 1 site, then this should be worded much clear, and maybe others would go this route.

I will re-read the contributor page again and see if I mis-understood it or something.
