need to install software before someone can see my website?

Hello,

I asked my brother to check my website, but he send me an e-mail that he needs to install software to see my site. Could this be "flashplayer" or something like that? I hope it's not a virus or trojan horse or something, because I am using some banners and adscripts.

I just got another mail from my brother, and this is what he gets: he has to install a program and when he clicks on "looking for program online", he gets this:
"Protocol Type: x-usc
Description: unknown

Windows does not recognize this Protocol."
