iDate 2010

We (ModMySite) have been invited to speak again at iDate 2010, which will be held January 19-21, 2011 in Miami USA.

We last spoke at iDate in 2007, and were re-invited over the years, but had to decline due to schedule conflicts and/or work load.

We are not sure yet if we will be able to speak at the upcoming event, but we are considering it, and what topic we would present.

In 2007, we presented a well received talk titled "Sustainable Site Development for Online Dating & Social Networking".

For the January 2010 event, we are considering a similar topic, or perhaps a mix of topics (a technology overview) including some new things like VERP (Variable Envelope Return Path) and other topics.

In any case, you can consider attending iDate as a attendee.  Lots of good information there.  Lots of networking.  You can check their website out for more information: http://www.internetdatingconference.com

We attended iDate 3 or 4 times now, and normally we sponsor all of them. Marc Lesnick and Mark Brooks are doing great job gathering Dating and Social Networking people together. If you have time and budget to learn and network, I would definitely recommend to go. It's a lot of fun too.

Ah, and you also get to see lots of people using Dolphin :D

Yes, a good time.

I don't sponsor iDate, I just get invited as one of the speakers. As mentioned, not sure yet, if I can make it or not.

Anyways Andrew - if I can - it would be cool to meet at last. ;)

Oh, we may not be able to make it this time. Will try Moskow for sure, but Miami seems a little tough this year - too many things to do and need some focus, but we'll see.
