I'm trying to figure out what he differences are between blogs, forums, and groups. Yes, they all seem somewhat similar, but I don't really understand the 'real' differences. Like, why use one and not the other? Do most people use one, some, or all?

Just curious. Thanks.

blogs are a personal dairy like things where you write about the things you want to write about aqnd have people comment on it.

forums are open to everyone to make threads about what they want to chat about. a forum is like a permanent chat where the chat remains forever.

groups are like forums but private or public that are of an interest to one group of people, or private invited group
i.e.
admin group
moderator group
trainspotting group

honestly i think groups could be abandoned, and just use the forum, as this is what the groups does anywho, just creates another instance of orca "the forum" so this IMO could be eliminated, the same thing could be created from within your forum.

It seems like this area, which they call blogs, are really forums, right?

Can you add a forum picture like you can a group picture? Hmm... I'm going to go check this out now. :o)
