help getting an error when signing up. i need to know what file to edit so i can put in my smtp server
also having problems when i click on another users profile it says page not found
any ideas on how to solve the problem?

on the page not found you are going to have to go to admin and turn off permalinks, that is the process of using mod_rewrite for the urls.

as for the smtp that should be in the conf directory if i am not mistaken, but that is setup when you are running the installation and should be easily modified.
