We'll update the demo today or tomorrow, but you won't see too many new things yet - it's mostly a performance update, so hopefully Dolphin would become "snappier". Some small design, layout and functionality changes are also in, but you'd want to wait until next update to see major improvements.
We listen to what you're saying, we read comments and address reported issues. Thus, we redesigned the member menu, we work on better photo albums, account, and customization. So, if you have something to say, be sure that we do listen.

Private Photo Albums - requiring a member to grant access or requiring both parties to be friends (similar to myspace)

3. Make better profile customize page. Ability to insert banners on top of page, for business profiles, ability to have business looking profiles, not just social. Sort of like you tube business profiles

A really nice and best alternate to RAY.
If RAY could be re-developed based on this. It would be much better, less resource hungry.
If replace RAY chat, it could be an additional feature to D7 with label "Networks" where multi-IM chat is made possible.

I do have two questions:
1. will my users have a smooth upgrade to 7 or will they need to start all over? meaning i will loose most of my users.
2. will there be a manual available soon after its release?

For dating oriented sites:
- It will be nice if the next updates will help admins to add custom registration fields and some more profile info for dating sites (and you can disable them in case you have a simple social network and don't want any dating content) like zodiac sign, hair color, eye color, height, weight, hobbies, custom profile quote, smoking/not smoking, see more
My site is completely in Dutch language and it's a bit annoying that I can't translate everything.
I have been having another play and noticed some errors/weirdnesses, not sure if you would be interested in hearing about these or you may already know about them.
1. Error when i click MY MAIL in my profile when im logged in.
2. After i nudge someone back the not appears saying greeting successfuly sent, but maybe that should be a pop up rather than not show the whole website.
3. Outbox should probably be called SENT
4. I liked the way see more
With a little mod (or maybe this option will be included) you even can display only profiles with photo...

today I read the comments in top .. I think there are important options the dolphin haven't it's private setting for profile, wall, comments, google maps , albums (music. video, photo) with this private setting I think the dolphin will be the best ... and I wish look to this option and add it to dolphin 7 .

I been looking at the demo site it looks good, I just wanna say the 6.1.4 i am using has been crashing on server alot, also theres a bug in the dolphin when users login there own picture is there but for some reason when a user goes to another page another user pic shows on theres, the site template changer would be a good option to add in the accounts panel where the user can change the whole site look without having to do it on the home page and there should be a good selection of templates see more

wouldl ove to see a image or video uploader built into blog posts. That way people dont have to link to some other image....

one thing is all the time missing in dolphin.
i think many want to add pictures from parties and events, in admin panel must be a function to add albums and batch-upload the pictures at once, because it´s too much work to single upload everytime 200 pictures from one party.
Notice how the there is no icon pic, but when you click on her profile, she has a picture.
