Ray 3.5 AV Chat Does Not Fucnction Rooms Not Usable

i just got my first error free dolphin 6.1 install done last nite. now what i am facing is the fact that i cant figure out how to use the new Ray AV Chat. i can load up the window, create a room, change some settings like select my camera and mic, but nothing else. no other user sees the room i have created, and therefore the chat is not functioning. can somebody give me some pointers on this?
