hello! i have a problem on my site (www.LovesArea.com)i have installed Ray Media Server on my vps , i put the settings (i think the rigt one...i try to put: rms.lovesarea.com but i can't.. is too long..and is not alowed.) in Ray control panel but my chat is not working. is says: CONNECTING... IM is full working (with webchat too)
do i have to make something else?

Simion is right.
You need to use your server IP address in RMS ->webapps->[widget_name]->WEB-INF->red5-web.properties
Also you need to enter the same IP address in the Ray Base -> settings->RMS address.

open your root with putty.
Use these commands ( in most cases this is correct, pending on where your RMS was installed on youy server this may change):
cd /opt/ray_server/RayServer_3.1.0000
<enter>
./run_daemon.sh
<enter>

i test rms 3.51 with dolphin, there is no restriction of ports but i am unable to connect.
pls advice.
