Prime Package Update

Andrew Boon posted 25th of December 2009 in . 11 comments.

From now on, the Prime Package will include 3 Permanent Dolphin Licenses, 5 years of Premium Membership, 1 Mobile App Rebranding, 1 installation and more.

The biggest news is obviously 3 licenses instead of one. Current Primes will get the update retroactively, too.

More about Prime.

I'm actually confused about this.

Does this mean that if we want to rebrand all of the mobile apps to one site that we will need to purchase 5 Prime Packages or will it be 1 Prime Package and we can rebrand all the mobile apps (iPhone, Android, Winmo, Blackberry & Symbian) to that site?

For instance, if I purchase Prime today and rebrand the iPhone app to one of my sites, then I want to add the Android App and rebrand it to the same site when it's released will I need to purchase a see more new license or will I be able to rebrand it and offer both apps to my members?

This is a fair question as one way it's $998.00 (US) and the other it's $4990.00. Not to mention if I have to buy 5 Prime Packages then I end up with 15 licenses and apps rebranded for 1 site. This is nuts.

Im not sure i got this right. Unity members with prime licenses (unlimited) will be upgraded to Premium membership too? If yes, thats a good news for this whole year. Because this year nothing worked well for me at all... :( And congratulations for the new Unity

This is interesting....

When I purchased my PRIME account on July 29, 2009 I read the License Agreement (this was truly one of the rare times that I actually read an agreement) and downloaded it to my computer.

The License Agreement stated that PRIME was good for (5) FIVE WEBSITE INSTALLATIONS (see below).

Not long after I downloaded the License Agreement (.pdf file), I noticed that boonex changed the PRIME License Agreement on their website to (1) website installation.

Ever since the see more change, I have been trying to get someone from boonex to acknowledge & honor the (5) websites that I purchased, but no one has responded/answered my request.

Why would I spend $998.00 for only (1) site when I could have purchased (1) site for $299.00 (without mobile branding, perks, etc) just would not be practical, in fact, that would have been downright stupid if I had. It was more practical to purchase for (5) sites.

I Hope Boonex will honor the original (5) sites like the Original License Agreement stated at the time of my purchase, because it is the right thing to do...

If anyone would like to see the entire .pdf file, please send me your email address.

Very good news for us, since we have 3 versions of the same site. Norwegian, international and dev..
No longer have to do a switch when dev goes to current etc. :)

Thank you!

Premium membership is utterly worthless and not worth $120. I have premium membership and have yet to see one promised benefit. There are no "premium" forums, its a lie. There is no ability to post to TRAC, I've tried and get access denied hell Boonex will not even respond to emails from premium memberships. Further, there is no Trident blog, or premium memberships do not have access to it. So when buying prime realize the premium features touted there are worth the standard membership see more since that is all you will have access to use.

what good is the prime license if all the branding remains? I wasted 999$ here
