Placing ad's in Dolphin

Hey guys,

This is regarding automating the banner ads/advertisment on Dolphin(maybe on the next release)

I haven't really played with the banner options in Dolphin but looking through kijiji and I noticed the way its self automated which might be an idea for Dolphin.

- user creates there own ads to place(left/right/ bottom placement-random display)
- pre-set price in this case kijiji has it set to $45 (automated)
- pre-set end date
- the process walks the user through the steps to place the ad automating the whole process.

maybe a custom designed mod. different price for different location wtih location control.

Easy money if the population of the site grows.

I am having problems with the banners. when I put a banner to the left or to the right, it looks like it is hiding behind the page and you cannot read it. It looks strange. How can I solve this. Check it out at www.chatimbled.com.

Hi Tracy,
You need to readjust your column widths. Currently all I use is regular banner ads, take a look at my site at www.elvistributenetwork.com and you can see how the upper and lower banners display. I know if you adjust the left, center and right colums that should display fine. Any questions, give me a shout I will help if I can.

I am very surprised that there aren't several add ons already available for advertising. google is a gajillion dollar company and most people want their communities to generate passive income from advertising from adwords and/or other similar ad providers. I want to build a membership site but I cannot sell subscriptions my biz model will only make money from ad clicks and/or ad views. I'm truly shocked that Boonex expects people to pay $1000 for the license but doesn't provide them with a turn-key see more
