a few of us have our own dedicated servers, as we also have out own dolphin sites our servers are setup for dolphin, i have also started selling hosting, but keeping the the number of slots to under 20 people

Forgive me but many hosts just stink at hosting dolphin in the shared hosting setup. It can be done, but in my opinion there are only a few that can really handle it. If you step up into vps or dedicated and you really don't know what it's all about, how to secure it, optimize it, harden it, back it up, etc then you are probably asking for trouble and not really ready for it. Start with a decent shared host and if it grows on you and you seek more than go from there.

If you are looking for something see more decent for a reasonable price, I do know of a handful, with 24-7 support and help. PM me if you wish.

Be ware of what you might see posted in here following, tons of new users to hosting think there host rocks. They don't really understand or know all the details. And they will tell you I have unlimited everything for $5-$7 per month. You generally do get what you pay for, only a few instances do I know that I can stand by that prices like this will work out where you only have 100 or less on a server compared to like 400-600 which is big trouble and issues.

Unless you have thousands and thousands of online users it is not worth it to pay for dedicated sever.. Start with a shared hosting for 5-6 bucks a month.

I recommend hostmonster also as I tried so many others... dreamhost, servage, godaddy,dot5hosting...but I am settled now.
