We are thinking of using Dolphin as a place where our community of employees can access work related media. In this case work related means it would be an archive of video and documents, organized by company functions, that is available for review and use. Or reuse.
As a Very Large Company we often have media needs that have been met in one place that are unknown in another, hence, work is duplicated. We would like to eliminate this cost.
Secondly, it can be hard to locate Subject Matter Experts within the company, since we are so large. A yellow pages type function would allow us to search and find individuals with knowledge and skills without having to have first or second hand personal introductions.
So, here we are, looking around.
