Match Emails/How do you turn off?

How do I stop these emails being sent out. I have switched off the cupid and matchmaking functions in the admin panel, so why are these messages still going.

I am not running a dating site, Purely social networking (well people may hook up and date) but the primary purpose is not dating.

Any helpers please?

turn off matching in the admin panel, would be my first suggestion. admin settings advanced settings i believe it is. give that a go clubbeyourself

Did you try to set the match value for the Cupid emails to be sent (default 70%) to a higher value (100% or even 300%) ???

no i have not tried that but I will now, Thanks.. the only other option i can think of would be to go through the fields builder and remove all the matching options on each of the active items. Will let you know how i get on.
