MP3 Loads in Status Bar, But Will Not Play

I thnik you may be having a problem I am having. I think all mucis files go through a conversion process in the server (you can obsevre thi sby a rotating icon next to the edit icon). When this icon stops rotating the convrsion would be over and you can play. You may also note that before the rotatin icon stops if you attempt to chanrg the menu the uploaded file will vanish. The speed of conversion is an issue I am trying to tackle which could be realetd to the server end. I think the solution could see more be to host RMS in a VPS or dedicated server. I call on all Pundits to help us out and confirm if my understanding is correct..

I tried to go to your URL and got th message, file does not exist. As I suspected, the file has vanished as an attempt could have been made to comeout of the menu before conversion completion. You need to wait for conversion completion. You can heck this out by uploading a very small file , say 1 Kb or so. You can see the difference.

I reuploaded it, file still wouldnot play, i had to go into my ftp client at CHMOD the MP3 file to 755, so the file could be read by everyone and executed by everyone, somehow that allowed me to play it in the SWF player, i want to know if there is a way so when someone uploads a file that it is automatically CHMOD'd to 775 so i dont have to do it manually constantly. register and try to upload a mp3 to my site and see if it plays from your Music section. And two, how do i remove all and anything see more relating to dating on the site, its not a dating site, its a local music portal for artists in Louisville, KY. here is the link to the new song that only started playing because i CHMOD'd it to 775 in the /public_html/502music/ray/modules/music/files/ directory where all files uploaded are stored.
