Join Failed error

selen posted 14th of August 2008 in Community Voice. 5 comments.

Im running 6.1.0. Upon trying to join as a couple I get a "join failed" message. It then creates the profile in the members section. If i play with the fields builder section removing fields altering limits etc I get a "database error". Any ideas?

Try upgrading to 6.1.4.

Do you have any custom MODS/Scripts added?

i am going to help you by asking that you not post your support questions in the forum. you agreed to the rules of unity, and this is against the rules. you are asked that you post all support related questions on the appropriate forum topic.

thanks for understanding,
DosDawg

Nuccca thank you for the advice but Ive had a few mods and after 6 months of work and being so close to finally having this site done the last thing I want to do is do an "upgrade" and introduce a whole new set of bugs(Ive already learned my lesson). DosDawg! thanks for the heads up bud, But Im sure you get this all the time, Where exactly is this post supposed to go? I read the little "warning" and it stated all problems issues etc go right here. Anyway its been a few weeks since see more Ive been here and if theres anything Ive learned, its Boonex is always changing something, and as always it appears not for the better. So where do I post?

One more thing to consider Dos, your a nice guy and you help a lot of folks out. It seems that boonex has you as the official hall monitor, they got you cut and pasting the same line into it seems every other posting. Keep up the good work and keep helping people out, leave the dirty work up to them(unless of course they pay you:)

Hey selen,

I don't know dos personally, I do know he don't work for boonex, and just trying to point posts in the right direction. He may sound a little negative at times, but believe me he does mean well. He and I argued about something awhile back, but after a few messages it turns out it was all a misunderstanding.

I do agree blogs should be about an experience, a tip, a story, or even a boonex review.

Sometimes support related questions get posted here, which is understandable. I won't see more chew you up for posting them. I will answer when and where I can.

But many times you will indeed get a much better and faster response in the forums.

I think sometimes things get asked and posted over and over again, more times than I can count. Because of this sometimes there is some frustration and some that deal with this script all the time know that there is a sollution in the forums, yet the search and forums often get over looked.
