80gb is probally for a small site, but i guess to start up it can go for awile but once you got so many people joining i dont think a pentium 4 will do at all.

512mb of ram? the os on a server would use about 200mb of ram alone

sounds idea for a site with a limit of 20 max members online at once.

Ram is speed, the more ram you have the less need to read/write to the HDD

1mb of ram is the minimum for a dedicated server, remember you are talking about a media heavy site, so with cam chat and movie/music uploads/downloads, you are going to need more than just 300mb of ram thats left over from the OS
