Is dolphin compatable with other popular databases?

I have been running a VBulletin database for years and would like to offer the Dolphin as an addition to the community for members. Is there any way to link the 2 together so the same user information can go from one to the other?

You would need to do a full integration, and I dont think many developers here would want to do that since Dolphin already has a good forum included.

If you wanted to use Dolphin, you could either setup another site and use your forum to promote it, or work out some kind of integration.

Dolphin has VBulletin and phpBB2 integration built in. I have never tried the Vbulletin, and like most things with Dolphin there aren't really any instructions. The files needed are in the "/forum" directory, that is about all I know about the Vbulletin integration. I have done several phpBB2 setups and it takes a lot of work to get it to do what it is supposed to do :-(

Wow, I never heard about that! Where did you find the integration details? We'll certainly test it out.

Damn, I dont like the forum setup in Dolphin. VB is much better.

I had to figure it out on my own, haha. In the "modules" directory there are files to integrate phpBB, Flashchat, Vbulletin, and something called phpMC... yet another undocumented feature, haha.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
