Installing Mods on Dolphin

I really think Boonex has put together a great site, but it's really hard to get Guys to install mods for you if you don't know how to do it, 98 % of the guys is over seas and on a different time zone than the people in the USA, and they want you username and password to install your mod really that is not a great ideal Do you think facebook, Myspace and tagged will get someone access to there site Nahhhhh. Once there in your control panel they can down load your site and make a copy of it. These Mods should be created and could be installed in the admin part of Dolphin like Joomla do there mod and they can still get paid for there mods. I'm Coverting back over to Joomla just because of the support and installing mods. Like i said Dolphin is great for those who know how to install other people mods but those of you who do not know how to install them run to to the border or use Joomla

Facebook, Myspace and Tagged have their own developers on staff.

You can either be like the BIG BOYS and have a developer on staff or learn how to do it yourself.

Unfortunately, Dolphin doesn't have the feature you're referring to with Joomla but Joomla doesn't compair to Dolphin in any way.

Synergy is correct about the big boys, however we offer Dolphin installation and Mod install support to our hosting clients at $20.00/hr.

You can install a LOT of mods in an hours time.
(especially if you know what you are doing)

I stay well away from buy other peoples mods and just learn to do it your self, i be leave that letting members create mods and plug ins leaves the dolphin script open to abuse, say if you have some one who don't know what there doing but know how to install mods ect, buys a mod you really don't know what is in the mod, there could be coding that will allow the creator of the mod to abuse your site.

I would like to see boonex moderate mods before allowing them to go public.

Be patient and stick with it.. you'll find good people.. don't give up..

PM me and I will tell you people to be sure to stay away from.

installing a mod on a website is not and i repeat NOT the same as copy n paste a background to your myspace ffs.
I have worked with many scripts. Boonex is the most difficult to install mods on.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
