Install problem please help

Please help. When I get to the 'configuration part of the install process and click 'next' I get a blank screen. Have removed the package three times and re-installed but to no avail. Any ideas???

I have the same problem after configuring the database options and the bad thing is that I can not see anything in the logs of the server (to get a hint about what *might* be wrong)...

Any ideas??
