I need help with RAY MESSENGER

ray messenger notifies isn't working... i instant message someone and they don't get it... further more someone instant messged me and i didn't get it till two days later (of course they weren't on at that time)
is there any way to fix this problem?????? I got the uploads to work 100% I merely located ffmpeg on the net and downloaded the latest version.. no problems since them. but messenger is giving me problems.. the instant notify isn't working at all. i need this working as i like to have private conversations. the video chat now worked in base settings in the plug in all you have to do is click the rms checkbox and it works 100%. but the messenger refuses to work on time.. it seems random notifications.. can anyone help? it would be very much appreciated.
