Help installing Ray

Squints posted 12th of June 2008 in Community Voice. 2 comments.

I just downloaded the newest version of Ray. I am using my local machine as my web server.  I have apache installed and running on my computer. However I can't get anything to run. I'm trying to use IIS as my webpage so that others can connect to my site and this will give me a secure connection. For those of you that don't know IIS is a windows based web server on a local PC. I have copied the ray folder into my root folder but when I go to the web address it only brings up the php file but does not run it. Does anyone know why?

thanks

yeah because of two reasons, one its windows, the other is it is IIS.

partition your server install a *nix and run a webserver from there, actually it should be an option to install when you run the rpm. lol

good luck,
