Can you please provide instructions on how to properly add and place Google Analytics into the index.php file and/or other necessary pages that a site admin wants to track.

Great job MrPowless! now google analytics work perfectly!...but... now there appears an error in index page of my site saying that there is a "}" expected on line 2 char 271, and besides that , now the block saying the Latest Forum Posts won't work at all...any ideas on that?
To tell the absolute truth i haven't tried removing the analytics code from my site yet, to see if that is the real problem. As soon as i try it i will send feedback!

and as always one point from me too ;)
