Error - Can't connect to RMS

its not working for me either. i have put in several posts on here at unity as well as over on expertzzz. i have sent messages to those that i know work on this script. i have gotten anything that works yet. will post back when i find something.

From my understanding, your image above is why... your using "adfree" which you must use with the RMS package on your own server, you cannot use the free rms.boonex.com one. That is only for "free" boonex software with ads displayed. You need to install the RMS package onto your own server / VPS.

If you want to use your own installation of RMS you have to enter the IP of your RMS and change the ports in Ray base settings to use ports 1935 and 5080.

Only use the 10000 and 10080 ports when connecting to rms.boonex.xom

I am confused about widgets and the stuff built into Dolphin. I want to use profile music (embedded), music (embedded), and video (embedded). This stuff worked fine in 6.) and now with 6.1.1 I get "Widget Not Registered". I don't even see a place in Ray Base to install these licenses.

I can't connect to the RMS server, im using the free version and ports 10000 and 10080, any ideas?

After beating my head against the wall for a few days. I found the problem with this. If you uncheck the box that says, "Use RMS" it works. At least it does now for me. Good luck!

I'm using the free version and can't connect to rms.boonex.com either . I set up the ports as recommended and it fails - "can't connect to rms"- and changes the port settings. my chat and other flash related communicaion apps don't work until I uncheck the use rms box.....
pretty much what these guys are experiencing...
any ideas?

ya this is fucking bullshit. you would think someone responsible for rms.boonex.com would leave a note that it's not working so I could have saved all this damn time.

heres a wierd addon, i setup an rms server of my own, works fine in admin, in the base i go into chat as admin, no problem, video settings and all is there, as user all i get is loading, but the other rms stuff works, boards etc. i think ray put a glitch in so people have to get a paid install to make it work

Has someone already found a solution for the described problem in the first post? I have exactly the same problems when connectiong to rms.boonex.com with ports 10000 and 10080. I get the error “can't connect to RMS“ when checking the USE RMS box.

So many people reporting about this problem on the web, but i can't find a solution for that.

I have the free version as well. I had them add my domain to the database. I have tried everything, and all I get is a little square on my chat page. This is so frustrating... In my settings, I have everything set correctly:

Site Name: crazysextalk.com
Use RMS - Checked
RMS Address: rms.boonex.com
RMS port: 1935

I have tried different combinations of the above and different ports, etc. - bupkiss.

Any ideas at all?
