Email Notifications

I was just notified from my new hosting company 1and1.com  That they received 7 spam notifications from yahoo.  They were basically from members sending messages to eachother and then when they were notifed via regular yahoo email they marked the mail as spam. So it wasnt us sending out bulk mails etc..
Anyway is there anyway in dolphin 6.0 for members to opt-out from receiving email notifications on their regular email?

I know eventually 1and1 will freeze my account because 7 spams really isnt alot considering i have close to 1000 members on my site and its only a month and a half old.  Any advise?  1and1 basically asked me to change how my site works, and thats not going to happen.

Thanks,

Mizzo

have you check the obvious? a new member joining and sending spam to all your members?
i.e. a spam bot registered and the controler is now sening spam to your members via your site not his own pc/site/server.
thats how the assholes work.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
