Dreams...

...Our dream is to build and provide a free, open-source platform, which is more powerful, more stable than any web-CMS available to date and is still easy to use, accessible and understandable..."

This is part of the text on the trident page that describes Trident and Boonex's goal for it. I say that this is very easily achievable. In fact, it's something that could easily be done tomorrow...

Sourceforge, github, google code - All platforms for the sharing of code in collaborative projects. Sourceforge is the biggest repository of open source code on the net, and already home to the Boonex Dolphin project, why not release Trident under one of these channels?

FREE & OPEN SOURCE.

I say if you are really interested in releasing Trident as FREE, open source software. Why not release it now - as an alpha and start an open source community for it's development.

Some food 4 thought...

There is a bunch of reasons. The main is that we believe that customers are not quite ready for it yet. For example, Trident uses XSL for templating. That means more robust templates development, but also assumes higher programming skills. Next, we start to change our vision of how Dolphin should work and some parts of Trident look like an overkill, so we remove them.

Give ti a short wait, we do have some good news coming up soon.

yes, we can wait...
still it would be so nice of you to share some text/images info about that project
