Dolphin vs eMeeting

I have diffrent site under Dolphin no problem, but I was needed something more or better say I needed something other, so after a day of searching i found the package eMeeting... Yes its a commercial script but not expensive.

Its not like Dolphin, but it could become in time a serieuz competitor I think. I have running it on one site now, and yes there are many things standard, like 14 really nice templates included. Also it have all the things Dolphin has, but not always better...

For a dating/social site it has some things you not needed, or just must to have. Little things need some more programming, what is standard into Dolphin, like the text editing or groups layout.

What Boonex is bad with support, this compagny has good support. So its a choice what you preferences are.

I use both at this time, its now on the new coming Dolphin 7 if I stay with and buy it, or I go to some others.

I checked out eMeeting. It looks good... Dolphin 7 has its work cut out....

eMeeting does look good , simple and easy to use but i think the only software which is close enough to dolphin is skadate.

yes its a very nice systeem to, but have you see the prize you have to pay for that... :)

For most people to heavy I think. So fot most people Dolphin is a very good alternative.

I have tested skadate, and hmm yes its very good looking script, but there are some things I don't like. If you want to remove the whole script, there is a area you can't remove at all... recursive rights is not working.. And thats why I don't buy this stuff.. I had to make a secure map of it. :(

Orca has this problem also, but you can recursive the server rights back, so you can remove Orca and groups.

Skadate may have a decent product but their support, documentation and business practices suck. That's the reason i'm here looking for an alternative. Skadate charges $500 for the script and $99 month for support. Dolphin is free so even if u don't get the support u justify the cost. I had difficulty tho just getting my logo to work on Dolphin so the jury's still out on whether I'm going to go Dolpin 7 or eMeeting. What eMeeting has going for them IS the user friendliness and that's extremely see more

Well you logo in Dolphin is very easy. You do that via your administtation/settings/basic settings.
on top on this you can upload your own logo, the option set is to format, set this to off.

Now ulpad en and clear your caches. Your or done.

In Emeeting, its a nice system, but you have not the freedom to make things really your own style. Here is Dolphin more flexibler.
