Dolphin upgrade & puchased mods

If I understand correctly, we need to reinstall those mods purchased from Expertzzz should we upgrade Dolphin. But, what would be the impact if the guy or company which we purchased the mods no longer exist?

I'm quited tempted to buy few mods but quite worried about the "after-sales service".
