Dolphin server installation problem

hi Guys,
I just purchased the Dolphin script and boonex is telling me that for the widgets to be installed i need to have a VPS or Dedicated server. This is turning out to be a problem for me considering the amount of media that  I had planed to upload and the Price i need to pay for a dedicated server... on my current shared server i have about 257 GB HDD and 5096 GB bandwidth available per moth... so its something i dont want to get rid of ...

I'm now confused and i know its more my lack of acknowledge about  these stuff... thats why i'm turning to you for help and opinions...

Basically what i'm doing is that my people join the community and are able to watch community/cultural movies and listen to their artists, albums and stuff like that...

but for the server:
I dont even know if its possible but my idea is to have the source codes and importatnt stuff on the dedicated server and the medias on the shared one, and the website reads form the shared server for the medias...

The other one is to have the website installed on the dedicated server and run the media on my own server ( i mean home servers ) so then i dont even have to worry about uploading data... then i have to have a huge Bandwidth from my ISP ( Rogers) which is unlikely...

So guys please let me know if you have any ideas or can help me even a bit.I'd truly apreciate that.

Regards,
Kash
