Dolphin generally buggy

Just installed Dolphin 6.1.0 and am not able to use it correctly. The first problems appeared when I wanted to register the 10 included widgets as said in the installation procedure: the licenses would not be saved, until for some odd reason quitting and logging in again made them enabled for good. After logging in a 3rd time and returning to the Ray interface where the widgets are listed I just get a message "Not installed" now...

Oh, and also stuff like clicking on a member's profile produces a white page ?

if you want to see the dolphin it is here: http://opensv.ch/svbook/

what you have going on here is the permalinks issue that has been widely discussed on here as well as at the forum on expertzzz.com you can untick the permalinks from the admin section and settings of the dolphin script. also this has something to do with register_globals being on, and need to delete that line is what i believe i read. at any rate, thats not really a bug, thats a server side issue that is easily remedied. hope this at least gives you some direction where to go with this for better see more help. go to http://expertzzz.com create an account if you dont already have one, login and you can use the search feature available there and look up permalinks, you should get at least 10 or more returns on that, and once you make those adjustments on your permalinks, you should be straight as far as that goes.

now granted, there are plenty of bugs, there is no doubt about that, but just be patient, and we will see how many of them get fixed.

Ah ok !
Well thanks for those pointers, greatly appreciated; if I can fix this problem, I might keep using dolphin for my community ! It does look like the best choice amongst the different offers after all.
