Boonex there seems to be more active tickets then closed tickets and why ?
Boonex Shouldnt we have already been heading into the FInal NOW!
Those tickets were as of today august 16, 2009
What this means is were going to keep going threw beta after beta as it seems until Dolphin-8 , under the impression I got this was supposed to be finnsihed in JULY ?
Can we have at least some dates and approx month when this could or will be finnshed instead of just letting us hang here like lost puppy dogs!
To top things off I have never seen this where 1version gets 3 Beta's or more in a row altogether ?
Example. 6.0b1 6.0b2, 6.0b3 etc ....

I am asking for approx date so me and others have and idea when we can all prepare ourselves for this time.
I have also said in other also words that we never have waited this long for a Final release
Also that you didn't wait this long for the last version, doesn't mean that you will wait that long for this version..
Did you now that Google Mail was in beta for about 5 years??
I think beta 4 will be the last beta, looking at all the bugs found and reported. I also think that the first month of the final release a lot of small updates will be released (for the "un"-found bugs)

Dolphin is NOT free !!!!
We all pay something to host Dolphin!
I think there are a couple of reasons for the long wait.
1) A total redesign of dolphin 7 and the design of the module system and how it intergrates into your admin panel.
2) In previous versions there were alot less features added and were more bugged than they're hoping in this version.
With more AJAX and Javascript functionality being used in this version may take a little more time.

as for the wait on the RC, all good things in DUE TIME. you obviously do not drink wine or scotch, both of which take years to be perfected with age.

Im paying very close attention over the next few days on the tracking!
It looks to me that there playing around, I really think there just closing tickets to shut us up and to make it look like there doing work in the back end.
We will just wait and see what happens over the next see more
I personally prefer a Dolphin as bug free as possible, I don't want my website when I go live to be hacked, broken, crashed etc. in one word - buggy.. so I prefer to wait just a little more and try to contribute and speed up the process as much as my time allows..
So let's stop fighting and help finish the job as fast as possible.. fighting is not the best way to hurry things up..

very shocked that they would allow this to happen ... your saying even if a ticket is sitting there in the trac it means it could of been already fixxed ?
this doesnt make any sence then, why would then dolphin have a tracing system if they dont maintain what needs to be fixxed and not ?

Agree to disagree, I understand his point, it is valid and your point is also valid. In recent past (this year) there has been alot of fighting on worest topics that had nothing to do with Dolphin, a kind reminder this post is a concern, not a cause of concern. :)

Im surprised at that statement, you seem like a bright guy, so you must have heard of time management... If you have 40 tickets open, you arent going to just come in, pick one up, fix that, come back stick fixed on the ticket then get another one. what you do is pick up a bunch, and work your way through that lot,some will be see more

I just would like to know who is in charge of the tracking system and are the bugs that are in tracking system getting actually fixxed or not ?
Something just does not make any sence.
One day there is 60 tickets to be fixxed and each day lets say 10 tickets are closed, but then see more
Dolphin 6 IM works, dolphin 6.x IM no longer works, dolphin 6.1.x IM is fixed again, and then bam 6.2.x IM feature is yet again broken. This seems to be a see more
tons of money that has been spent on my server is being lost over this.
