Admin Panel can't use different language files. Hope all are phrased, not only front end but also back end. don't need to edit SQL file and PHP files when translate. And of course the integration to vBulletin.

I can successfully register my widgets but the problem is when I start to change the values it says, "Undefined". So what should I do?

Why didn't the [L] show up in the demo and when I installed it in my server it shows [L] in the forum. I compiled the language also and registered the Orca. I guess it doesn't like me... :(

Have you all noticed that as a regular member, when changing my member's profile it becomes inactive?

I'm testing the new version but I liked add some notes & problems I saw it :

1- about new comment system :

it's perfect but when I add comment it stay loading until do refrech for page and I see my comment

and I wish add member photo inside the comment as like old system if it's allow .. but really it's easy, nice and perfect commnt system

2- IM need to increase width it because the settingbutton not show

3- the chat stay loading .. not work

Everything works great except for changing the value of the widgets. I can upload a file more than 5 mb! You could add a sound file that says, "You got mail!" when the member recienves new mail, or different sound files that indicate different types of mail such as greetings. Also you could make the user choose what kind of greeting they want to give; flower, greeting, wink, hug, kiss and have it editable in the admin panel. Also you could do is put a X mark or a check mark when the user see more entered the correct password or whatever. Also to have a check availablity below nick name to see if other users have the same screen name. Those will be cool features to add in.

When you upload music in the music gallery, the blue dot keeps on going round and round. Also when you try to cancel a download it says undefined and "Are you sure you wanna cancel?" but no buttons. Upload videos to gallery works fine, upload music profile works good. However, the music gallery does. hmmm--maybe that's something you should fix

Anybody tried the new RMS? What Java does it need now? It keeps saying aborted on my own RMS with Java 1.4.2 installed vor RMS 3.0

On the music player the tracker doesn't start from the beginning again like it should. It stays at the end and the pause button stays instead of stopping the sound.

The confirmation box shows no buttons and the word "undefined" when trying to delete a video, music, and anything that uses the confirmation box.

In the Admin panel when click on Awaiting Approvals I clicked on music and got this error.

OK, got the new RMS to work, had the wrong path configured.
Bit if I configure anything in the settings menu for RMS it says 'undefined' and it does not connect to my RMS and also not to rms.boonex.com.

Only if i unconfigure using RMS the chat open .. but no video available ... ?

Plus, with the greetings that the user gets it pops open a window with the greeting inside and a sound of kissing, or whatever. Plus gotta add mood icons so the other users can see what mood you're in. Betting offline and online images than just a light bulb. LOL! Plus have the user add emoticons in the IM and Chat also as well play predefined sounds that could be edited in the admin panel. Sounds like yawning, screaming, clapping, Yahoo, laughing and such. You could add more animation to the smilies see more or put another smile set that is animated. Within the IM you can send files such as videos, music, photos and also in the chat you can allow users to post images\sounds.

Also, try to prevent Bot's from sending greetings and messages and also joining. I don't know how you'll be able to but maybe send a test page via email to what the bot is using because I think bots don't give the correct emails; also this will prevent spam also. Come up with something!

On the forum you can put added signatures, ability to post youtube or google videos. You can also try to put in there emoticons, PM that goes directly to the user inbox. Also try to be able to create subforums within a forum. Beable to put better admin inside the forum and chat; like for the admin to create more chat rooms and have them password protected or a request to join if the room is set private. Also you could have the admin set up as many rooms he\she feels neccessary than just 10.

Lemme know what you guys think? Add any more features you would like to see Boonex to put in the new final release.

Bugs that I say was that while in the music gallery it acts slow when wanting to goto something else on the page. Possibly add more optimizers in the script and dolphin's .htaccess file to give it a boost by deflating the neccessary files that will make it run smoothly. I already mentioned about the confirmation box not showing any buttons; so we got that straight. In the admin panel when clicking on Awaiting Moderation it gives a script error. So if you can fix that and add all the cool features see more I listed as well as others cool ideas that would be awesome! Thanks boonex for powering a great community software!

in line 41 there's a code

$sType = 'photo;'

change it to

$sType = 'photo';

Save it and upload it to the admin directory of Ray and it will work for you. Boonex you should've known this! NO MORE TYPO'S!

I have notice a problem in Grours.

This may be said in the blog but here it goes. Do you know how you would change your profile and it would turn the user inactive. Well here's a trick:

goto admin panel -> Moderation Settings and unclick the ones that say DO NOT CHANGE STATUS WHEN UPLOADING...etc. etc.

Wow is this looking so much better. The admin area is kick butt……!

My test install seems to kind of hang when clicking back on the home page button or the logo to get back to home. It’s almost like it freezes a bit for some reason. It also seems to do the same thing when clicking on one of the members on the home page. Almost like its have a problem with rewrite or something. I did not experience this problem when I installed the Alpha version. All other pages come up fine so far. Anyone see more have ideas?

I also noticed when creating a couples profile that contained a man and a girl that after the profile is created if you decide to edit the profile and change it to a girl and a girl or man and a man the profile then disappears as availed couple.

In addition: I noticed that when you still do a search and see the results for the members that when a couples summary is displayed the text in the search result only shows say “38 y/o male” instead of “38 y/o male & 26 y/o female”. It does the same thing when you are looking at your Ray web presence.

I will continue testing and give more feedback. I ran a little behind this week as I was working on getting a new dedicated server online.

I would absolutely love to run Dolphin on my websites. The admin interface is exactly what I need, and the overall layout and design is just so clean and pretty. Far preferable to any other CMS I've used to date.

I'm going to load it all up into one of my sites and keep my fingers crossed, since I never got beyond the install with the last stable release.

Can anyone tell me what to expect with chmods? I ran into a brickwall with Shoutbox permissions see more and never found a solution. Is the process the same with the new beta?

Installed at SuperMomNetwork.com and can't get the Page Builders to work. Is this a known issue ?

How did everyone correct their parse error on line 41?

here are two tips for more securety:

1.
When a user wants to change his/her passwod :
there should be one more field where the user enter his/her old password before he/her can change it.


2.
Login
After Login there is the redirect site wich take a lot of time for some user. so please remove it !


3.
Profil picture
when a user upload his/her photo and gets the message plesase wait till the admin check yout photo, than he sould get a picture where is shown that you has to wait... see more (like: please wait or in progress)

4.

? I changed "null" to "0" no go. The syntax seems to be good. I have no clue................ I'm about to go with ImplantIntel and dump this install and go with the stable version... ;)

I created a test dummy and on one tab logged on under that name and mine. I went in the chatroom to test out video, and I didn't get video or audio. Why? Also when I would swtich room I would be in two rooms simitaniously.

If you haven't video/audio in chat then you didn't setup it for using RMS.

First some corrections or retractions on my previous comments:

I mentioned something about performance lag when you clicked home on the home page links. That was my bad, I forgot to propagate DNS for that new domain so no problem with my internal testing now. However anyone looking from the outside it may take some more time for DNS to propagate everywhere.
I also mentioned that if you registered with a male female see more profile and then change the sex of one of them so you have male & male or female and female that the profile quite working. What is really happening here is the profile is flagged for moderation to approve it. I think this is actually a good thing. Now that I see how this works I appreciate it more because it helps the site be more versatile and less judgmental to say male couples or female couples. That is cool!!

I like those terms of use agreements have now been placed for all uploads including galleries.
Things I found that need to be corrected:
Photos:
If you navigate to a photo gallery and then right click on a gallery photo you can save that photo as a background unlike the security preventions that just saves a spacer on profile photos.
After the first upload of any photo, video, or music the agreement is no longer available. It may make sense to have a short summary box maybe to the right where the site owner can also modify to their needs and there would also be a link back to the original full upload agreement.
Once again this is real important for anything adult related as different site owners may allow or disallow different kinks of photos. (PEOPLE TEND TO FORGET WHAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO DO) This way if something gets turned down through moderation you can just point the member back to agreement areas. Hopefully lowering moderation support.
I would like to see the photo comments editable by the member. If they make a mistake they will have to upload the photo all over again just to change a comment. You can already do this for gallery photos.
I am not sure why in the admin advanced setting there is two places for max number of profile pictures. One is set to 20 and the other to 5 by default.
I am not sure if this is right or not. But on the front page where the block PROFILE PHOTOS is there is a combination of profile photos and gallery photos.
I also think that in areas where you upload photos and even audio or video you should have some text or one of those little help buttons that tells what kind of format you can upload for example You must choose a file with .jpeg, .gif, .png extensions and maybe even query what the admin has set for size of uploads.
The better you inform you members of just about anything they would think of or have a problem with the less questions and support you will have as a site owner.
Groups:
All the help popup have some kind of Boonex stuff in them.
Events:
I would suggest having the option of having Zip Codes so members can see the events closest to them. As a site grows with lots of events this could get ugly if not.
I would also suggest that when creating an event that you have the ability to have options like groups have for Open Join or Approved Join.
I think you should also have the same as groups where you have the option of allowing people that have already joined to invite friends as well as being able to invite all members that are from groups you own to the event. This makes for a great way to get the word out.

Admin Area:
In the admin area there is a checkbox to enable Zip code search but I do not see this ability on the front end?

Frontend:
The security image on join page should have a way to refresh the image just in case someone can’t read it. I had a hard time on a few of them. If someone has to refresh their browser they are going to lose everything they filled out and probably get mad and leave. I am a sticker on making sure there are no obstacles to close the deal:-)
When you click on browse members the sex check boxes only include Male and Female, Is there a Couple one two and it’s just not activated?

Usability:
It’s great now that you can block a member now with a single click of a button. However now that you have couples profiles it may make sense to allow a member to block all of one type of profile. For example block all Single Males, or Single Females, or Couples. I know on some sites single males can be very annoying to couples.
I think link in the top right corner that says My Profile also needs to also be in the sub menu for My Account because it’s almost impossible to drag your mouse across any of the other menu items below it to actually get to the My Profile menu items. Then what happens you get confused if you’re looking at My Account or My Profile. This is very confusing for the difference in uploading Profile and Gallery Photos.

SEO Observations:
Tags are not completely SEO friendly, For example if I hubber my mouse of the word GIRL I can see the URL looks like this http://www.portalpop4.com/search.php?Tags=girl it should be something like http://www.portalpop4.com/search/tags/girl

PROFILE PHOTOS on home page are not SEO unlike the MEMBERS block and as a result may cause duplicate pages in search engines resulting in some penalties if left the way they are.
Example: These two URLS go to the same place and both are not SEO friendly.

I did not have this error at first but now I do. I just checked and its gone again. There may be something intermitting here. You may want someone to test it hard.
Group photos that are uploaded are not SEO I would also suggest having the option to moderate these also. (PEOPLE WILL FIND WAYS TO DO THINGS THEY SHOULD NOT IF IT IS POSSIBLE)
Events area
Same kind of SEO problems as groups with Page titles.

I like the way the new page builders work, gives me more control on the look.
I am having one problem though.

I cant seem to find where to actually edit the profiles fields on the profile edit screen both in profile and in admin profile edit?
Like for example I dont want the Looking For option, or if I want to move that to a new place. I cant seem to find that builder.

I like the option to scale the size of the columns. Is there a way for it to automatically resize the picture or thumbnail on the profiles too when you resize it?

Oh, on IE6 the startpage is only in one column. You sould test dolphin again in other browsers. There are many problems at the design.

on IE6! IE6 is the badest browser on the planet. And dont tell me that IE6 is the most used browser - that´s wrong - the mozilla browsers are the most used browsers on this planet - maybe it´s different on the planet "Microsoft". Use Firefox and you will see the same sites very very differen - i mean better!!!

Admin Dashboard does not appear to be showing Awaiting Moderation for photos. It may make sense to check others too.

THe new beta problems:
-site loads very very very slowly all pages. I almost fell asleep while waiting.
(would be good with optional preloader on the public area as well) and for all pages that loads in snail speed,
-The create fileld problems. Also with database.
-log in from other pages then first page is not working correctly.

We can only comment on the profile but not on photos individually. Will be great if we could?

Also there should be a privacy section where user can chose what to show to guest, logged in, and friends

OK so we didn't take the advice. We installed beta2 on site. I can't get the profile music player to register. Also chat works to get in and we see each other but cannot see content. Am I to understand chats don't work in the beta? IM we can't connect in real time but can send messages that way. Lastly how does one take ray licenses out that were used on the version 6.04 and input the new for the beta version two, or is this possible. I got the new licenses and deleted the old in here but see more can't find where to re register or how to take them out. Must I reinstall the beta v2 again and then submit the new licenses to get everything registered? I get the undefined error also when trying to save to rms. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Talking about the ray widgets. Dolphin registered perfectly. Actually except for a few areas with errors 404 its looking and working nicely. Just can't get the type to show up in chat. Can't get the profile music player to register either. All my ray widgets are now unregistered in here. I purchased a new unlimited license for a/v chat and am wondering if that license will work in the beta v2 build. Again on the undefined in the ray widgets. Cannot get any of them to save new settings. Is see more that because the widgets aren't registered correctly and are using v 6.04 licenses? Also there doesn't seem to be anyway to get the blogs to work. I checked in admin everywhere and nothing. When I create a new blog it won't save. Also groups on homepage will show up but cannot access them due to 404 error. Again any help would be appreciated, rebbie

Grinning ok promise this will be the last this morning. The latest news block also comes up with the error 404 and while mentioning it previously they all have the same mo in terms of can't find on the server. That is blogs, news settings, groups. Any ideas. Seems strange they all suffer the same hiccup?

I found a problem with the couples profile

You can not assign a field to the male or female
side.

E.G.
A male would not like a bra size under his profile

Even on localhost site is loading extremely slow.Template customization isnt going to be easy as the precious version because the layout has been fixed to using fluid layout .It would be better to give an option of fixed layout as fluid layout isnt always the best solution for widescreen unless if different style sheet is assign for different screen width.

BUG - Description field in PRofile using Firefox:
When a new member joins and is filling out the description box (under headline) with a sample text, the Text is shown up. But when hes going under his profile/settings and is changing the description, the old text is still in the box, not the new one. Even when refreshing the site.

I installed the new beta. I setted up a new user(1). Gave him some pictures. Was able to saw him as registerd on the startpage in the stats and so on.
Then i logged out. Signed up as a new user(2). Made all reg steps and then logged in as this new user(2). Sitestats is showing up, that only 1 member is existing. In the hole stats (new this week etc).
When i click on All members, i only can see the last regged user(2). Cant find the first one. But when im going to the public photo gallery, see more i can find the pic from the first user(1). When i click on it im coming to his profile.
Only in this way i can find this user(1). Strange.
Also the text in description is not changed. (See my post above).

I registerd now another (3rd) user. Here is everything fine, i can see the 2nd user normal. Stats s showing up 2 new member (but it should be 3).

So my question, where is the problem with the first user?

I have been testing out the new 6.1B and almost got it working perfectly... just got 3 issues at the moment, Can anyone please help.

1. Photo/Profile Rating doesnt work at all on the site... clicking the stars does nothing.

2. when I create a selection field... ie: Hair Colour
on the actual join form and profile view these fields have a "_" infront of them... for example

_blonde
_brunette
_redhead

in the database these show up correct..
but not on the forms... see more damm strange. is there a page where this can be fixed?

3. when there is a drop down on the join form.. instead of choosing the default selection it says "Select It".

4. is there a way to create a piece of HTML code that is placed in a field on the profile page.
(these things use to be able to be edited in the language page)

for example

Hair Colour
Eye Colour
Height
<HTML Code with Picture>
Weight
Ethinicity
etc.

I've got my new beta site working pretty good now... just want to iron out these bugs please.

Any help on these will be much appreciated
I can code php fairly well, jus need to be pointed in the right direction please.

I tested that and it works perfectly.

Is there a way guests can rate photos/profiles?

and as for the profiles fields thing... does it work better in the RC version? do you know where the data is stored?

I have installed the new Dolphin-v.6.1.0rc1 and i must say AWESOME!!! Everything is hooking up really good,only one problem found so far. The shout box constantly is loading. I have not tried out the other widgets yet,but so far so good. All my past issues are solved. Great job guys! Your rock!!
