Different Background Image for each Box

Hello,I saw many Dolphin Sites who use differents background images for each window (box). Example: Different BG Image in the HomePage for Login Area, Top Members, Video Gallery and etc... How I can set image for each one window? May be the one way is editing of code and where the php makes <table> there I must set the background image? Or May be that is something with CSS? Please tell me. Thanks in advanced.
