Custom fields and 7.0 - 7.0.1 upgrade
Hello everybody. I guess you've already missed me, well some of you :-) I want to assure you that everything is ok and the situation in Kyrgyzstan is gradually stabilizing.
Well, now let's leave the Kyrgyz battlefields and look closer on our beloved Dolphin creature. I'm sure we can find many things to fight against here :-) This beast can't just calmly lie and let us do whatever we want with it :-) It fights back! And one of the problems it responds with is inability to change custom fields after the upgrade.
That is, you can't change these fields' captions, descriptions, make it mandatory, etc. The Beast will respond that such field already exists.
So, my advice would be as follows: you should complete all work with the custom fields BEFORE you really upgrade your script. Don't worry: our brave knights - developers - are already aware of this problem and will try to "convince" the Beastie Beast not to be so naughty :-) They will try their best, that's for sure ;-)

I hope this is fixed soon! things are taking way to long to update using back end tricks.
I am having a problem with being able to change my fields too. they do not save. I have heard that the bug was fixed, but certainly not on my program..
