Did you try to wite localhost with a small letter ? (l, not L)

It isn't "localhost" with godaddy... look at my reply to your other thread.. its something like p13mysql123.secureserver.net

CyberXing do you have a phone number for discussing your options, support and details before I attempt to order service through you?

Thanks for the help guys, but i tried to contact them and this is what they gave me

" Thank you for contacting online support.

Do not use "localhost" as the hostname (or database server) for your database-driven Web sites. Once you have successfully created a database, your host name displays on the Database Information page of your Hosting Control Center.

To Find the Host Name for Your Database

First, you will need to login to your account.

• Click here to see more get to our homepage and enter your customer number or user name and your password. Click on "Secure Login" to be taken into the account.

If you have trouble logging in, our Account Retrieval System may help you. You can use this to retrieve your customer number and/or reset your customer account password. You can find this system by selecting 'Click Here' next to 'Forgot Your Password?' on the 'My Account' login page.

• In the My Products section, select Hosting Account List.
• Next to the hosting account you want to modify, click Open.
• In the Databases section of the Hosting Control Center, click the icon for the type of database you're interested in.
• From your list of databases, click the Pencil icon next to the database you want more information about.
• The Database Information page displays. You will find the host name for your database on this page."

After going through all this- again a dissapoitment and this time it tells me

"Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client" -This is when im trying to connect to the database.

Please help on this too!

I had the same issue when I installed on godaddy. You need to log into your godaddy account and then log into your database for dolphin. write down the actual IP address of the database (ex. 10.9.17.27) this is shown at the top of your database screen. Insert this into box for localhost.
Let me tell you Cyberxing is the worst service you can get. I have been trying to get them to get my account right for 6 days now and they will not answer me at all. Last I heard they said they are working on it. I was using their Plesk only to find out that I was suppose to be on their so called new grid with cPanel access. They said they do not know how I did not get onto the new system. They told me they are working on it. Now I can not log into Plesk and I sure do not know were their cPanel is see more located. This is real bad business when you are trying to run a web site on their database. I can not understand how a company can function without a phone to contact them personally. Get this I pay for their Power Hosting which allows me to host up to ten accounts. I have businesses to run and I am left in the dark! I have been on vacation and can not even get the other two sites of mine up while I am off my other job.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
