Boonex implementation for a WoW Guild
Okay... i have been playing with open source portal sites for years.. .and they always miss the mark for what i'm looking for..
Recently, our Guild page was destroyed, and alot of the features people were wanting, just wasn't showing up in my portal of choice (soop). So, A freind of mine suggested this one.. I was blown away by how it had nearly everything i was looking for.
So, now begins my Journey into making dolphin Warcraft compatible.
Now, I don't think that this is really going to be what the software is intended for.. It's not for matching up couples in dating... and it's loosly going to be coupled with matching people up for chance encounters to kill Dragons and the like... But really, this is going to be a community site... something that blurs the lines between real life and in game. I'm really excited about it.. and have implemented it... But the customizations will continue, of course.
Step one is complete.. logo changes, a handfull of guildies have signed up (we have about 450 of them). The website is sitting at http://new.forceofvigilance.com/new/ if you want to look at it.

primary thoughts are using the "events" part of dolphin for that but be warned that Boonex has auto set the events for "dating or speed dating" so you have to edit the message if you use events for scheduling raids.
