Ok, overstated that goal a bit, but you know what I mean. Dolphin hasn't killed me yet, so it's got to make me stronger, right?
My plan is to use this blog to outline solutions. To be honest, I don't have many solutions yet, but what frustrates me most is when I find a question asking exactly what I want to know, and then the poster returns to say "nevermind, I figured it out" and doesn't post the solution!
I would like to categorise data by the admin CP outline. Once I figure out how to use tags, I should be able to locate say, all the topics on "Dashboard" and drill down to the site stats and find definitions, quirks and Q&A about Dashboard screen and everything seen on the Dashboard view. Course, if that's already out there someplace, why re-invent the wheel.
If anyone knows where I can click on ACP --> Dashboard --Stats --> Events and read where that data is sourced, which files i can peek to see the foundations of that data, edit the output or anything, let me know!
For example... in my ACP, Dashboard Site Stats says I have 4 events. User view- homepage site stats also says we have 4 events. ODDLY enuf, if you scroll down to the "Events" block on the homepage, it says it nice bold letters "Sorry, nothing found". Geez. What gives? Users have to click on the Events or the Calendar menu item in the nav bar.
Same with ACP-> Content -> Events -> Add New Event -> way down at the bottom is an option "Choose period (in days)"
What the heck does that mean? Is there anyplace that documents what should go here or what the function is? And why is it starred *mandatory?
Welp. When I find out, I will be back to post it here, promise :D
Any commentors that know and share will become heros in my little part of the world.
I have about 160+ pages that show how to administer Dolphin with lots of screen captures. It's a work-in-progress and when complete posting the remaining files I will serve it up in a neatly organized listing.
Free.

I know I had found boonexNerd before I installed, but you've really done a lot to the look and feel of the place. Kudos.
Good luck with the wiki project. When 7 comes out, I suppose I'll be right back a square one-- hope you were you able to get an alpha release to get started on the new version ..?
