What is the setting audio bit rate (64-256) in ray mplayer used for. IS it for quality of audio or speed of upload. Can anyone enlighten me. Tks.

It is the quality of the audio streamed to every user that listens to the specific music file.
a little notice though.
Bigger bitrate =better audio quality=larger bandwidth use
A nice bitrate is the absolute middle...128KBit
